She is Nicole...Chief Branding Diva!

Updated: Mar 16, 2022

Meet Nicole Levell, owner of Elocin Marketing.

All I did was blink and the entire approach to marketing changed in an instant. It was an evolution! The internet and social media become mainstream and the world found new ways to connect that didn’t involve the protocols of the past. It can be challenging for GenerationXers and even some Millennials to keep up with the fast pace and consistency required for not only social media, but digital marketing as well. While exposure has become easier, it’s important to know best strategies for how to SHOW UP, but significantly more critical to know how to GROW UP using digital marketing as a primary resource. Industry ignorance can literally mean the death of your business. Fortunately, the highly competent Nicole Levell, has made her presence and availability known as brand strategist, content creator and owner of Elocin Marketing. Her company name is her first name spelled backward and signifies how she identifies as a Chief Branding Diva! She is dominant and incredibly skilled, and her Atlanta based company teaches women how to build a strategic foundation for their brands. “I want to make branding and marketing easy for female entrepreneurs,” says Nicole, who reveals that this field has nominal Black representation. “It’s a double edged sword for women of color. First because you’re a Black person, and second because you are a Black woman,” confesses Nicole.

Nicole began her journey into the world of marketing 14 years ago, after graduating from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. “Back then you had to have a college email address to have a Facebook account,” recalls Nicole as she reminisces on how much the industry has changed. “Now social media is integral to everyday life.”

The standard for digital marketing is less vivid, but certainly more active and effective with most marketing happening on cell phones or laptops with clicks and swipes, and a consciousness for how often we engage. As former editor-in-chief of her alma mater’s newspaper, Nicole understands both print and digital media. She is multifaceted but has a penchant for digital platforms. “One of the things about digital,” explains Nicole, “is the immediate gratification you get in terms of reviewing stats to see how customers are responding to your work by either clicking or making purchases. Those types of things get me excited and digital is the area where my skillset is strongest.” Nicole, having worked in various corporate roles as an advertiser, digital strategist and brand strategist, gained a lot of knowledge on how to reach the perfect audience online and the impact of leveraging digital marketing to connect with brand advocates and increase revenue. “I am determined to combine my knowledge and experience to guide female entrepreneurs in building or revamping their brand to represent their expertise in their industry,” Nicole says emphatically.

Elocin Marketing offers a VIP Brand Mentorship, where Nicole works 1-on-1 with a brand. The focus of the mentorship is to help clients gain clarity on their brand identity, messaging and content. The mentorship includes a Brand Strategy call, 12 weeks of support, new Brand design, website design, strategy, identifying content pillars, a marketing plan and custom content for social media, email marketing, and more. The company also offers a VIP Day for brands who want more tactical support.

Nicole relishes the advantages of owning a small business that allows her the opportunity to be up close and personal with her clients. “I have more latitude to do what I do,” Nicole says proudly. “For example, I am able to take the time to really explain a highly complex digital plan, including how my clients will reach their target audience, what ads they will use and why, and how they will work with partners to reach their goals.”

For Nicole, it’s not just about the brand. It’s the confidence and power she ignites in women seeking to advance their causes through their businesses. She is genuinely concerned about the person behind the business, often time working on a brand long after the lights are off in her client’s home. I say this with confidence because I am a client of Elocin Marketing. On many occasions I have experienced Nicole’s unflinching focus on providing service well beyond my expectations.

From assisting with brand identity to campaign initiatives, it’s as if Nicole miraculously breathes life into every brand she represents! If you’re a perfectionist…no worries! Nicole personifies the word! She doesn’t believe in disappointing and takes her brand worth next level.

She is a wife, deeply in love with her husband; a mother, in love and thrilled about her role as mommy; and a businesswoman who says above all else professionally,

“I want my clients to fall in love with their brands again and again.”

Elocin Marketing will offer a 12-week Love Your Brand Again Course starting Summer 2022. Follow Elocin Marketing on Instagram @elocinmarketing and visit her website www.elocinmarketing.com for more info.
