ABOUT (ME!)

At 59 my life is filled with abundant love and happiness. Life’s girly superficial amenities including manicures and pedicures, fragrant shampoos, knee high boots and 4 inch heels are my go-to options when I’m feeling frazzled or stressed. I love chocolate, and my favorite tasty delight is German Chocolate cake with black tea. Although I’m transitioning to a vegan diet, Starbucks and I will always have our moments together.

 

I love dancing and singing and especially writing. It’s so therapeutic and shared thoughts lead to the execution of extraordinary new beginnings in some cases. My favorite time of day is early evening because by then my hubby of 40 years and I, are gathering together to reminisce on the day behind as we enjoy dinner and an occasional glass of wine. But we also enjoy breakfast at sunrise and date nights in our staycation family space in the downstairs area of our home. Among the things of which I am proudest are my two adult sons. They are simultaneously humble and confident and they are spiritual men. My daughters-in-law bring me joy and as a family we are in love, well and happy.

 

However, life hasn’t always been easy. There have been many obstacles and many times we’ve had to extend intense apologies to each other. But I would say my life has been perfect. I’ve come to appreciate that perfection is not a life devoid of mistakes. It is a life filled with the results of forgiveness and righteous effort.
